In a landmark Ruling delivered today 8/10/2024, the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division declared as incompetent an appeal brought by Edozie Njoku to stop the competent appeal brought by Barr Sly and APGA to the Supreme Court. You would recall that after the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division granted the duly elected National Chairman of APGA, Barr Sly Ezeokenwa alongside APGA leave to appeal to the Supreme Court, Edozie Njoku immediately filed an application to stop the appeal to the Supreme Court. Knowing fully well that the Supreme Court will severely reprimand him as an impostor, he has sought, by all means possible, to stop the Supreme Court from hearing the appeal.

Unfortunately for the impostor, Edozie Njoku, the Court of Appeal saw through his shenanigans and dismissed the appeal. The Court of Appeal questioned Njoku’s lawyers on why they don’t want the Supreme Court to hear the appeal since they claimed it was the Supreme Court that pronounced Edozie Njoku as APGA National Chairman.

The Court of Appeal Justices, who were visibly angry by Njoku’s antics, reminded his lawyers that they do not have the powers to stop a competent appeal pending before the Supreme Court and further warned Njoku’s lawyers from engaging in needless forum-shopping. The Court of Appeal declared that they are bound by the Ruling which granted APGA and Barr Sly Ezeokenwa leave to appeal to the Supreme Court after remarking that Barr Sly Ezeokenwa remains the validly elected National Chairman of APGA.

This landmark decision of the Court of Appeal further strengthens the fact that the days of the impostor Edozie Njoku are already numbered.

Edozie Njoku, who appeared visibly confused, was sighted exchanging words with his lawyers outside the Court room. The long arm of justice is fast catching up with Edozie Njoku.
