There Is No Reason To Dump APGA – Enefe

Chief Ekene Enefe, the Oyi/Ayamelum peoples’ choice for the Green Chambers, on Tuesday denied the news that he had left the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, for  the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The spokesman of Enefe Dike Campaign Organization, Ogbuefi Harris Chuma, told news men in Awka that he and Ekene Enefe had no issues with their  party, APGA. He said that Enefe had no reasons to dump APGA for another party.

IMSO reports that the social media was awash with reports that the incoming Federal lawmaker, Enefe, had dumped APGA for APC ahead of the August scheduled party primary elections.

Chuma said, “our attention has been drawn to the fake news making the rounds in the public domain that I and Chief Enefe have decamped to the APC. That is not true and it is important to address the issue immediately”.

“Last Monday, credible Oyi and core political stakeholders met to address the one sided decision of paid agents  who held a kangaroo political meeting in Umunya. The political bigwigs under the platform of  Oyi Political Stakeholders Forum unanimously agreed that the sponsor of the kangaroo meeting  Hon Uchenna Okafor, Anambra State Commissioner for Transport,  should be called to order and advised to desist from plotting against the wishes of ndi Oyi. He was caught leading the campaign against the zoning understanding/agreement between Oyi and Ayamelum Federal constituency and sponsoring ndi Ayamelum to destroy the 2011 zoning understanding/agreement.

“But to our surprise, we received news from Hon Uchenna Okafor’s  social media aides that I and Chief Enefe  had decamped and there were several calls to confirm if we had decamped to the APC. I want to state categorically that the Oyi Political Forum resolution to maintain the zoning agreement of 2011 cannot be destroyed by greedy and selfish politicians.”

“Moreover, I do not think that endorsing the decision of Oyi Political stakeholders on July 16th and supporting the Oyi declaration on June 2nd, had anything to do with me or Chief Enefe decamping from our party to the APC.

“We hereby publicly declare that we have not decamped to the APC and any news of such should be ignored’’ Ogbuefi Harris Chuma said.

The spokesman urged Ekene Enefe  supporters not to be distracted, saying that the ruling party APGA  meant well for everyone in the state.
