NURTW Chieftain, Hamburger’s Wife, Daughter Fly In From Dublin For Burial

Alhaja Abolore Bello, the wife of Aro Rasaq Bello, the slain transport workers union chieftain popularly known as Hamburger, has arrived Lagos, Nigeria from her Dublin, Ireland base for the burial of her husband slated for Friday 2 June.

Family source told P.M.EXPRESS  that the distraught wife came in Wednesday night with their first daughter, Kafayat and they are at present in Odalume Street, Ladipo, Lagos residence of the deceased’s mother.

The murdered NURTW chieftain’s wife and four children lived abroad.

49-year-old Hamburger, the chairman of the Lagos State Motorcycles Owners Association in Oshodi, was shot dead on Monday.

His remains will be committed to the mother earth according to Islamic rites on Friday.

Three people have so far been killed since the crisis started on Monday over disagreement on the choice of councillorship candidate for Shogunle and Ladipo under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Another victim who was with Hamburger also died from bullet injuries he sustained during the attack.

Police have already commenced investigation into the cause of the crises and to arrest the culprits.
