NURTW: Gov Abiodun’s Cabinet Members Fingered In Crisis

A citizen of Ogun State, one Evangelist Titus Oladipupo, has alleged that some members of Gov Dapo Abiodun’s Cabinet were behind the crisis rocking the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, in the state.

In a message to the Governor titled “My Advice To The Executive Governor Of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun” Evangelist Oladipupo said, “My name is Evangelist Titus Oladipupo. l am an indigene of Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State”.
“Your Excellency Sir, I have chosen this medium to express my sincere feelings and to render my piece of advice as part of my contribution to bring peace, orderliness and good governance to the lovely and peaceful people of Ogun State.
Before my advice to you my able Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, First, I pray for God’s Divine protection upon you and no evil shall befall you.”

“I want to use this medium to advice you my able Governor to be conscious of the activities of some of your Commissioners and members of the State House of Assembly.
Sir, people in your cabinet are not advising you in the right path concerning some sensitive issues in the state which they might have tagged irrelevant.
Let me use this opportunity to appreciate the former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Asiwaju of Yoruba land for the wisdom he used in managing all sectors in Lagos State, the Unions inclusive that’s both NURTW, Tricycles, Bikes popularly called okada etc. I bow for his wisdom.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu you will live long and God will give you good health to manage your home, Lagos and Nigeria as a whole.”

“My amiable Governor, I am still insisting you don’t see me as a politician or a member of union but as a concerned citizen of this noble State and country, Nigeria.
I swear I am not a politician or union member. Let me thank the former Governors of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola SAN, Akinwunmi Ambode and the present Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for the way they have managed and still managing everyone in Lagos State; they all are the true sons of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

“Your Excellency Sir, with due respect, you have to understand that what is going on in the union is a political problem caused by your own members of cabinet which I will boldly name.
Sir, the problem is spearheaded by one SSA, Egbetokun. He and his colleagues are behind all the problems between the Government and the National Union of Road Transport Workers. I am saying this categorically that he and his caucus are the ones manipulating the issues of the union because of their selfish interests without any apology to anyone.”

“My Governor Sir, do you not think that the action on the union is going to affect a lot of people and families that are brothers, sisters, friends, wives, etc, who are benefiting from the job of the union?
With due respect to your office Sir, You’re supposed to manage the union to work together with whoever in unity instead of using big grammar to condemn the people working for themselves to feed their families.”

“Sir, crisis arises in corporate organizations, even in political parties there are crisis, but things are sorted out without being partial which may create enmity.
The union I know in Ogun State are law abiding and don’t do things that will jeopardize the security in the state.
Your Excellence Sir, I think you should regard the law guiding these bodies, allow peace to reign in the National Union and equally warn your SSA and Commissioners.”

“I am also using this opportunity to call out our father, His Excellency the Vice President of Nigeria Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, you are from Ogun State Sir. I want you to call the attention of Governor Dapo Abiodun; let the Governor know the right steps to take and and also advise him to obey what the law says.”

“Let me thank the former Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola, for the honours and support he gave to the boys of the National Union when he was the Executive Governor of Osun State. I hail you baba wa,Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
“Your Excellency Sir, the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, I pray you understand this message and that it will shed light and reverse your pronouncement on the Ogun State NURTW.”

“Your Excellency Sir, with due respect to your office, if I have in anyway offended you with this write up, I want you to read it as a Christian with understanding and with the fear of God.
I have written as it concerns me as a citizen and indigene of Ogun State.
