On Friday, Nze Akachukwu Sullivan Nwankpo, the ADC governorship candidate in Anambra State, accompanied Dr. Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi a.k.a “Obijackson”, who attended the burial of Dr. Mrs. Uche Regina Emeasoba, mother of Mrs. Eloka Umeh at Oraifite, Anambra State, with a retinue of prominent people from Okija, in attendance.
Some of those who attended the ceremony included, top officials of government, and politicians, the National Chairman of African Democratic Congress(ADC), Chief Ralph Nwosu “Ikolo”, also commiserated with the family of the late Dr. Uche Emeasoba.
While commiserating with the family of the deceased, Nwankpo said, “Actually, as we are getting older, we are getting closer to our graves. We should not despair, it is normal. We should find solace in the biblical truth that there is hope after this life, there is another life for us to enjoy if we live our lives well on earth. it is important that we keep the commandments of God”.
Late Dr. Uche Emeasoba’s final burial ceremony was graced by political juggernauts, captains of industry, religious and clergy.
The highpoint of the event was the arrival of Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo and his highly respected cousin, “Obijackson”, at the venue.
The glowing presence of the powerful duo resonated convincingly, dispelling every capricious propaganda held in some quarters by rumour mongers. In fact, Obijackson and indeed, many other prominent sons of Okija and Ihiala had unreservedly expressed solidarity and wished Nwankpo success at the upcoming gubernatorial polls in November.
