Lagos budding talent, Ayodele Rahman has qualified for the semi-finals in the karate event at the ongoing 2024 National Youths Games in Asaba, Delta State.
Rahman is competing in the -47Kg female category and her first fight saw her stunning over Mary Jerome from Kano State. Her second fight was against Benedicta Chidinma from Kaduna, where she also overpowered her for. This took her to the next round.
Her progress took another turn when she defeated Akobundu Favour (Anambra) in the quarter-finals.
