ULOKA CHIBUIKE
I reminisce about the arduous struggle we underwent to prevent Anambra State from falling into the hands of those who had no involvement in the development agenda nor clear plan for our further progress. We earnestly searched for the ideal candidate and ultimately arrived at the comfortable choice of HE, Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji, KSJI, in order to continue the legacy and vision of a new Anambra over the past two decades. Unfortunately, there were others who fought vigorously to impede Anambra’s progress, which we are currently witnessing in the state today.
The choice of HE, Chukwuma Umeoji as the APGA candidate and Governor of Anambra State was not a challenging decision. Many of us made significant sacrifices for this purpose and firmly held our ground. Looking back now, I take great pride in the choices and actions we made.
On this special day, your birthday, I celebrate the invaluable contribution you have made to Aguata, Anambra State, and Nigeria. At 56, you have made remarkable strides in the development of our cherished state and nation through your dedicated public service, philanthropy, and numerous other endeavors.
You have consistently served as a pillar of support and encouragement to the youth, children, and women. You truly epitomize the governor we never had.
Congratulations and Earth strongs day Sir!
