Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano has offered his condolences to his Enugu State counterpart, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on the recent death of his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Uwakwe Abugu.
Obiano who spoke with Ugwuanyi on telephone said he received the news with profound regret and distress.
Expressing his sympathies to Ugwuanyi and the family of the deceased, Governor Obiano noted that the demise of late Uwakwe Abugu was another untimely transition in what appears like a season of deaths.

He stated that Anambra was still mourning the departure of the Vanguard Chief Correspondent in the State, the late Enyim Enyim, a contemporary of the former Chief Press Secretary when the news of his own death crept in.
Chief Willie Obiano reasoned that in the brotherhood of mankind, the impact of human death transcended boundaries, seeping into every concerned heart just as the ripples resulting from a disturbed pool.
Governor Obiano paid tribute to the resourcefulness of the late media aide describing him as a talented journalist who had made his mark in both the electronic and print media.
Extending his condolences to the family of the deceased journalist, Obiano urged them not to be weighed down by the vacuum arising from the transition but to put their trust in God who is capable of healing every wound.
The Anambra State chief executive expressed the hope that with time Governor Ugwuanyi would cope with the loss of Uwakwe’s friendship and services, while praying God to grant his soul eternal rest.
