Obiano Inaugurates Anambra State Road Design Committee

The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has inaugurated the Anambra State Road Design Committee, in line with the state government’s push to deliver world class infrastructures to Ndi Anambra.

At a brief ceremony  at the Governor’s Lodge Amawbia on Monday, Gov Obiano charged the members to ensure that the best standards are maintained in delivering road infrastructure to Ndi Anambra.

The Governor who  tasked the committee to take special cognizance of the environment in Anambra, pointing that, it was situated within high gradient scape which made it more vulnerable to erosion.

The committee which has as its Chairman, the Commissioner for Works, Anambra State, Engr Marcel Ifejiofor has six weeks to submit its report. Other members were

In his acceptance speech on behalf of the Committee, the Chairman, Engr Ifejiofor appreciated Gov Willie Obiano for sticking to international standards in delivering infrastructures to Ndi Anambra. He further pledged the committee’s commitment to deliver on the mandate given to them by the governor.
