Obiano Is Not A Control Freak. Many Nigerian Politicians Are

This makes him an atypical Nigerian politician, the very kinds whose idea of a Successor is one who is a “lame duck” incapable of personal decisions. Many came to him kneeling down, kotowing and pledging to do nothing but his personal bidding, only if he could adopt them as his lapdog. It takes a Man of stoic personality to reject such willful servitude from co-mortals.

As APGA goes out today to flagoff her campaign, one of the many positives ndi Anambra are confident about is the credibility of the Party’s flag bearer.

This very APGA transitioning is a masterstroke devoid of any negative political appellation. Those who said “Obiano can’t” contemplate Soludo as his successor, are angry that he did not adopt them as political “pet dogs” even after they wagged their tail at him.

Ndi Anambra are proud of this moment. It is the People’s Choice.
