Odunmbaku, Layeni Engage CDC/CDA, Religious Leaders & Community Stakeholders In Strategic Meeting Ahead Of Council Polls

In a renewed show of grassroots connection and visionary leadership, Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA and APC candidate for re-election, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, alongside his running mate, Alhaja Kafaya Layeni, hosted a high-level engagement meeting with critical stakeholders at his campaign office.

The meeting brought together leaders of the Community Development Council (CDC), Community Development Associations (CDAs), the League of Imams, and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

Hon. Odunmbaku emphasized the importance of unity, participation and grassroots mobilization, while presenting his administration’s first-term achievements, including health, education, youth and women development, social and Infrastructural development. He showcased the innovative Electronic Medical Records Health Card initiative by his administration and urged community and religious leaders to encourage residents to register and benefit.

He charged stakeholders to educate electorates on the positive impact of APC-led reforms of President Bola Tinubu at the grassroots, noting that the visible progress in Ojodu LCDA is a testament to effective governance and such economic policies.

The Director-General of the campaign council, Barr. Olawale Ajala, echoing the sentiments of the Party Chieftains present led by Party Chairperson, Alhaja Stella Kokumo, highlighted the strategic importance of the forthcoming council polls as a pathway to 2027 elections, calling for intensified mobilization.

CAN and League of Imams representatives offered prayers and support while commending Odunmbaku’s infrastructural strides especially construction of Irebawa and Yusuf Streets.

The CDC Chairman, Pastor Segun Fayemi, praised Odunmbaku’s community development efforts and pledged full mobilization of its members as footsoldiers while APC Women Leader – Alhaja Bukky Badmus alongside Ward Women Leaders and APC Igbo Morgan group also presented campaign materials in solidarity.
