Ogun 2027: Olowu Of Owu Blesses Senator Adeola Yayi

The Olowu of Owu Kingdom in Abeokuta, Ogun Central Senatorial District, Oba (Prof.) Saka Adeola Matemimola, has blessed the aspiration of Senator Solomon Adeola, the APC governorship candidate to be the Governor of Ogun State come 2027.

 

Speaking in his palace when Senator Adeola and his deputy governorship candidate, Alhaja Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa-Balogun visited, the king said it is the joy of any monarch to have development in his domain for his people’s benefit adding that it is clear that the senator is impacting on the lives of his subjects through his implementation of road projects around Owu kingdom and other parts of Ogun Central Senatorial District.

 

“I am a lover of development and impacting on the lives of my people. That was the reason for the establishment of the Olowu Hope Initiatives which is impacting on 200, 000 people daily. I am aware of you development efforts in your primary senatorial district and other parts of the state including Owu Kingdom. I am there bestowing on you the title of “Are Bobatolu of Owu Kingdom” for your development strides and your promises to do more as elected Governor” the royal father stated.

 

Also, speaking at the occasion, the Osi of Egbaland, High Chief Bode Mustapha said himself and some other Egba sons like Rt. Honourable Tunji Egbetokun, former Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly started the journey with the senator 13 years ago based on the conviction that he is a good product to be governor of Ogun State stressing that he is guaranteeing 100 % that Senator Adeola will deliver positive development as governor of the state.

Another royal father under the Owu Kingdom, the Towulade of Akinale Owu, Oba Oluseyi Adediran affirmed that the Senator have capacity to govern the state adding that in his area of residence, the senator has completed the construction of 2kilometers of a critical link road.

Addressing the royal fathers earlier, Senator Adeola said he is not a stranger in the palace as he has always identified with development initiatives of the people of Owu stressing that he is in the palace to get royal blessings and support of Owu people for his aspiration.

“ In all that I do in government I always factor in positive impact on the people. All my empowerment programmes and infrastructure projects are targeted at impact on people. I am happy that the Olowu is impacting on 200,000 people per day through the Olowu Hope Initiatives. I am going to partner with the Initiatives now and in the future for more beneficial impact” the senator stated.
