Following his earlier nomination as the APC Consensus Candidate for 2027 Governorship race in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun West) has again expressed his readiness to fly the flag of progressives in the 2027 election.
At the APC Stakeholders and Strategic Meeting for Ogun West Senatorial District held at Adeola Yayi Hall in Ilaro, to present him to the district, the senator once again expressed appreciation to the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, former governor of Ogun State, Aremo Olusegun Osoba and other stakeholders across Ogun State for the honour done to him as the consensus candidate of APC.
“I am indeed grateful for the honour of emerging as the consensus candidate of our party. I will not take the honour for granted and promise to continue to build on and consolidate on the milestone achievements of Prince Abiodun when elected in 2027” he stated.
While officially presenting the consensus candidate to the stakeholders after an overwhelming affirmation by over 1000 stakeholders, Prince Abiodun expressed joy that Ogun State achieved what most states of the federation are still struggling to achieve peacefully in presenting a consensus candidate from Ogun West stressing that Ogun West has always supported him electorally, particularly during the 2023 election.
