A governorship aspirant of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Hon. Jelili Kayode Amusan has congratulated the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu on her 65th birthday.
In a statement in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, the former federal lawmaker highlighted the First Lady’s compassionate spirit, which is signposted by the launch of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).
Through the Renewed Hope Agenda, a governance framework introduced by President Bola Tinubu’s administration, RHI has made major contributions to national development, making interventions through healthcare, education, food security, youth development, affordable housing, and economic development, among others.
He said: “The First Lady has indeed complemented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in providing support for the citizens irrespective of their backgrounds or political affiliations. She is undoubtedly a wonder partner to our caring President and leader of the governing party, APC.”
Amusan said that, in spite of her own heights in life, including being a three-term Senator of Lagos Central, Mrs. Tinubu has not stopped from being a model wife, whose lifestyle is worth of emulation by the young and the old.
“I pray for more fruitful years in sound health for our dear First Lady, who is endowed with a heart of gold. May she lived to see the fulfilment of her dreams for herself, her family, her loved ones and her country”, Amusan said.
