Ogun Traditional Ruler Charged For Public Assault

P.M.EXPRESS reports that he was charged to court yesterday 4th February, 2025, on three-count charge of conspiracy, assault and conduct likely to cause breach of peace.

However, he was granted bail while the case was adjourned to 6th March, 2025.

Following the alleged assault, which went viral on social media, Abdulsemiu Ogunjobi has also been suspended from acting or conducting himself as a traditional ruler in Ogun State.

Reacting to his arrest and arraignment, the Force PRO, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, reiterated that the Police will continue to uphold the rule of law and the core values of the noble profession.
