Ohanaeze Chairman Nze Edwin Egboka Declares Ezeship In Oriade LCDA Finally Settled

The Chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Oriade LCDA, Nze Edwin Egboka, has declared that the issue of Ezeship has been settled and thanked the members and stakeholders for their support on the empowerment organized by the group and restoration of peace over Ezeship in the LCDA. 

 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Nze Egboka stated this during a press conference held in Lagos on the success of the empowerment and end of the year programme organized by the group at the weekend.

 

Nze Egboka, who is also the Chairman of all Ohanaeze Chairmen in Lagos State,  said that the empowerment and other activities the group embarked upon was a huge success and was made possible with the support of his executive members,  leaders of the 11 zones, stakeholders and members of the Ohanaeze in the LCDA.

 

He thanked the Ezendigbo Oriade LCDA, Eze Umenwekwe Chukwukadibe, the women who presented their cultural dance and the House of Representatives member,  Hon.George Olawande, for their support during the event.

 

He also thanked the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State, Chief Solomon Ogbonna and the awardees for their support and expressed commitment that he will continue to unite Ohanaeze in the LCDA.

 

Nze Egboka stated that the issue of Ezeship has finally been resolved and Ohanaeze Ndigbo recognized the two Ezes-Eze Umenwekwe Chukwukadibe and Eze Chukwuakalikamadu Emmanuel in the LCDA and enjoined them and members of Ohanaeze to continue to maintain peace in the LCDA.

 

He advised the Ezes to desist from making any negative publication in the social media that will truncate the peace since Ohanaeze has finally restored peace in the LCDA.

 

He explained that there was need to reorganize the cabinet Chiefs for Ndi Eze in the LCDA and declared that henceforth, if any person wants to be a cabinet Chief or be given chieftaincy title, Ohanaeze must know the person and give support before Ndi Eze will accept such person.

 

He expressed commitment to continue to serve Ohanaeze Ndigbo in the LCDA as their elected Chairman and his concern is the welfare of the members and maintenance of peace and unity among the members.
