Peace may have finally returned to Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State as the two factions led by Chief Solomon Aguene and Chief Sunday Ossai sheath their swords to embrace peace for the interest of Ndigbo.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that this came to the fore following an invitation letter sent to the stakeholders for a reunion party slated to hold on Saturday, 7th February, 2026, at Calabar Hall, Surulere, Lagos, by 12pm.
The invitation was signed by Chief Solomon Aguene, Chief Sunday Ossai and Chief Leonard Okafor (Oba Ojoto)
The invitation was extended to all stakeholders, esteemed executives of both factions, Local Government chairmen, Ndieze, and all Igbo sons and daughters in Lagos State.
It stated:

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the coming together of Aguene and Ossai was brokered by Chief Leonard Okafor, who was said to have painstakingly reached out to them and convince them on the need to come together under one umbrella for the interest of Ndigbo in Lagos State. They agreed and embraced peace.
