Ojodu LCDA APC Women Leaders Visit Hon Segun Odunmbaku

The Executive Chairman Of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, yesterday hosted the Women Leaders of Ojodu LCDA APC at the Council Secretariat, Oke-Ira Ogba.

The Leadership of the Women Wing of the party in Ojodu LCDA led by the party’s Women Leader, Alhaja Bukky Badmus, said the visit was to appreciate the Mayor for his good work in health, poverty alleviation and infrastructure while still giving the party women a sense of belonging through his policies of social inclusion and cohesion.

The women, who looked radiant and resplendent in their gorgeous attires, unanimously praised the Executive Chairman’s illustrious pedigree and how he has impressively built on such rich legacy to accomplish great strides since assumption of office.

 

They crowned the shower of  encomiums on the Mayor with a presentation of award plaque to the Chairman for his notable achievements in delivering the dividends of democracy and fostering socioeconomic development in Ojodu LCDA.

Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, in his speech, appreciated the women for the visit and gesture saying he valued such gestures for the intention behind them. He also said that there are more developmental initiatives in the pipeline for the benefits of the people of Ojodu LCDA.

“We aim to change the narrative to improve civic engagement and also committed to open door policy of our administration, we would prioritize feedback from the women Leadership of the party” he said.

He also expressed his satisfaction in the caliber of the women leaders and promised a more robust relationship with the women leaders hinting that it is the beginning of a new era and renewed hope.

The women leaders also presented an award plaque to the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon Olaide John Bello. Also present at the event were Vice Chairman of Ojodu LCDA APC, Hon Gbemi Ololade and Hon. Lekan Peters.
