The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, has embarked on a comprehensive inspection tour of ongoing reconstruction and upgrade works at various Primary Health Centers (PHCs) across the council area in his commitment to improving grassroots healthcare delivery and ensuring that residents gain access to world-class medical facilities.
During the exercise, Hon. Odunmbaku inspected the upgraded PHCs at Gbadamosi, Akiode and Powerline, which have all reached completion and near-completion stages. At each facility, the Chairman examined finishing works, medical support units and structural fittings, expressing satisfaction with the quality of execution.
In Akiode, he also assessed the newly constructed Bakare Street leading to Akiode PHC, a critical access road delivered by Ojodu LCDA to ease movement to the PHC and for residents in the community.
Hon. Segun Odunmbaku who was accompanied by the Councillors of the Wards where the PHCs are located respectively, Hon Abbas Abiodun Bismillah (Ward F), Hon Bukola Ademoyegun (Ward E) and Hon Lanre Ogunnoiki (Ward D) with the Council Engineer, Mr Akeju and MOH, Dr Tanimowo disclosed that state-of-the-art medical equipments procured by his administration has already been deployed to the facilities ahead of their commissioning.
The Chairman also engaged with medical personnel and residents, who expressed delight over the visible transformation within Ojodu LCDA’s healthcare system, describing it as a renewed era of accessible and dignified community health services.
