The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, today paid a visit to the Celestial Church of Christ, Calvary 1 Parish in Aguda, Ogba and was warmly received by the clergy led by Shepherd Venerable Superior Evangelist Olushola Mankinde, who praised the Mayor for his proactive approach in addressing community stakeholders’ requests and his relentless efforts toward the development of Ojodu LCDA.
In his address, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku stated that the purpose of his visit was to engage more closely with the residents and understand their concerns, aligning with his administration’s open-door policy.
He commended the church for its welfare programmes and expressed interest in exploring deeper collaborations, particularly in medical outreaches such as the “See A Doctor” initiative, which provides free medical treatments and surgeries, and interest-free loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Hon. Odunmbaku further encouraged the youths to take advantage of the vocational training programmes offered by his administration, which include offshore welding and fabrication, HVAC systems, digital training, and entrepreneurship programmes.
In recognition of his dedication to the community, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku was presented with an Award of Recognition.
In his acceptance speech, he expressed his gratitude and stated that the award will serve as a motivator for him to continue in his efforts to continue to serve the community.
