The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, welcomed the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Rural Development, led by Hon. Ganiyu Sanni Okanlawon, for an oversight visit on Wednesday, 11th September, 2024.
The visit was part of the committee’s constitutional mandate to inspect projects within the council area.
During the tour, Hon. Odunmbaku showcased several completed and ongoing projects including the nearly-completed administrative building within the council’s premises, the active mini buses for free transportation of residents and pupils, He also showcased ongoing construction of Irebawa Street, reflecting the council’s focus on improving infrastructure and enhancing local development.
The delegation, which included Hon. Kehinde Joseph, Hon. Jubril Abdul-Kareem, and other committee members, also visited the Legislative Chambers, where they were briefed on grassroots legislative activities.
The visit reinforced Hon. Odunmbaku’s commitment to transparency and accountability, with the event attended by Executive Council members, legislators, and the council’s management team.
Hon. Okanlawon commended the administration’s efforts, urging continued collaboration between the Council and the State Government for the benefit of Ojodu LCDA residents.
