Ojodu LCDA Chairman Presents JAMB Slips To Deserving Beneficiaries

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, has taken a commendable step towards promoting educational empowerment by presenting JAMB slips to 500 selected beneficiaries within the LCDA.

 

The presentation ceremony, which took place at the Council Secretariat Hall, was organized as part of the Chairman’s commitment to supporting the educational aspirations of young individuals within the community to provide access to higher education for deserving candidates who may have faced financial constraints.

During the event, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, represented by the Vice Chairman Hon Bunmi Oluyadi, emphasized the importance of education as a key factor for individual growth and societal advancement. He applauded the selected beneficiaries for their resilience and strong desire to pursue higher education.

He further said that the provision of these slips goes beyond merely offering financial assistance but serves as a catalyst for educational opportunities that will empower and shape the future of the beneficiaries to enable them contribute meaningfully to society.


The Ojodu APC LGA Chairperson, Alhaja Stella Kokumo, CDC Chairman, Pastor Segun Fayemi and Baale of Omole took turns to commend Ojodu LCDA Chairman’s commitment to education that is evident through various initiatives and other programmes promoting educational growth within the LCDA.


The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the beneficiaries, who were selected based on merit and financial need. They expressed their gratitude to the Hon Segun Odunmbaku’s administration and recognized the significance of this gesture while pledging to make the most of the opportunity to excel in their academic pursuits.
