The administration of Hon Segun Odunmbaku in Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, yesterday distributed food items, cash of a Million Naira and wheel chairs to people living with disabilities as part of palliative measures to cushion the effects of subsidy removal on vulnerable people at the Council Secretariat, Oke-Ira Ogba.
The Ojodu Mayor, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, in his speech at the event, said that the initiative was borne out his administration’s policy of social inclusivity and welfarism that aims to give People Living With Disabilities a sense of belonging, that all segments of society are special and equally important.
Representative of PLWDs and Director in Lagos State Government, Mrs. Josephine Omolola, praised the Mayor for his humanitarian efforts towards improvement of lives especially the upliftment of vulnerable groups in Ojodu LCDA.
