In a bid to continuously recognize and reward excellence among teachers, Ojodu LCDA today honoured exceptional teachers through its 2024 Teachers’ Empowerment Programme (Third Edition), reaffirming its commitment to educational development in line with it’s H.E.Y.S Agenda.
Winners were chosen via a digital assessment process introduced by the Hon Segun Odunmbaku administration to inspire professional growth.
At a vibrant ceremony hosted by the Vice Chairman, Hon Bunmi Oluyadi, the first-place winner received ₦250,000, the second place ₦150,000, and the third place ₦100,000. Fifteen others received ₦50,000 each as consolation prizes, totalling 1.5 Million Naira.
Dignitaries including the Lagos State NUT Chairman, Mr. Akintoye Hassan, Ikeja Division AOPSHONNUT, Mrs. Oni Adeshola and NUT Chairman ikeja branch, Mr Gbagba attended the event. They all praised the Hon Segun Odunmbaku administration for the third edition of the initiative, calling it a benchmark for other local councils while winning teachers applauded Ojodu LCDA’s dedication to empowering educators and advancing quality education for future generations.
