The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, yesterday met with the leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ojodu Branch at the Council Secretariat Okeira, Ogba.
Led by its Coordinator, Comrade Lukman Abiodun Olabode, the youth organisation visited the Mayor to seek continuous support for the organisation for the official unveiling of the NYCN and various means to maximally impact youths in Ojodu LCDA.
The Mayor, while promising his support for the organisation and its activities, also advised the executives on how to streamline thier programmes in line with the developmental agenda of the Council for seamless collaboration between his administration and the organisation.
Odunmbaku further deliberated with the youth leaders on awareness and review of their activities, community projects and posturing for collaboration with private sector and non-governmental organisations for youth development as enshrined in the H.E.Y.S Agenda of his administration.
The NYCN leadership, in appreciation to the Mayor for his unwavering support and dedication to youth development in Ojodu LCDA, presented a gift to him while praising his dynamic approach to governance.
In attendance at the meeting were the Leader Of The Legislative House, Hon Opeyemi Apatira, Chief of Staff, Mr. Dapo Adeoye, Comrade Serah Okotto, Comrade Onitiju Oluwashola, Comrade Sodiq Adeola, Comrade Irojulaye Gbenga, Comrade Taiwo Odedeyi (Odex).
