Ojodu LCDA Partners ETL Engineering Services On Technical Training For Youths

The Hon. Segun Odunmbaku administration in collaboration with ETL Engineering Services today flagged off a technical/professional training program for selected youths in Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State. 

The aim of the training programme is to empower and equip the youths with relevant skills in engineering and other technical fields. This initiative is part of the Council’s efforts to reduce unemployment, close the skills gap and encourage entrepreneurship among the youths.

The training programme will cover various technical areas such as electrical installation,electromechanical engineering, Heat Ventilation and Air conditioning system maintenance. The participants will undergo intensive dual hands-on training (classroom and practical) sessions facilitated by experienced professionals from ETL Engineering Services.

During the flag-off ceremony, Hon Segun Odunmbaku expressed his gratitude to ETL Engineering Services for partnering with the council in this noble cause which is a pilot phase and emphasized the importance of technical skills in today’s job market with the need to equip the youths with relevant knowledge and expertise.

The Chairman also listed the various trainings facilitated by the Council for youths to gain valuable skills in Agribusiness, Solar Power, Waste To Wealth and Information Technology while urging the participants to take the training seriously and make the most out of the opportunity. He assured them that the council will provide necessary support and resources to ensure their success in the programme

CEO of ETL Services, Mr. Udemba said that the training programme is to run for a period of three months, after which the participants will receive professional certificates of completion, that the initiative will not only provide the youths with valuable skills but also open up employment and entrepreneurial opportunities due to the robust curriculum as graduands would become assets to the organisation that engaged them.


Present at the Flagoff ceremony were Legislative Leader, Hon Opeyemi Apatira, SLG, Hon Olaide John Bello, Hon Lekan Peters, Mr. Dapo Adeoye and CDC Chairman, Pastor Segun Fayemi.
