Ojodu LCDA Presents Certificates To Graduands Of Solar System Training

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, yesterday presented certificates to graduands of its Solar System Training for Youths at the Council Secretariat, Oke-Ira Ogba.

Ojodu LCDA had partnered with Exceltric Technologies Limited, a Renewable Energy company that specializes in deploying Solar System solutions, to train 40 youths on Solar PV System with intensive training modules that included Introduction to Renewable Energy Project, Energy Audit, Solar PV design, Solar System installation, System maintenance, Safety and Entrepreneurship.

Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, in his speech to participants during the graduation and presentation, said his administration has prioritized capacity building as a catalyst to creating multiple streams of income for beneficiaries of the skill acquisitions in order to boost socioeconomic development.


He further said that the initiative is a foundation for the graduands as advanced trainings, entrepreneurship opportunities and Trade Tests Certifications would also be provided by his administration to them for optimum exploits in the renewable energy sector.

The presentation witnessed a shower of encomiums as graduands and coordinators expressed their gratitude and shared testimonies. They also presented appreciation plaques to both the Ojodu Mayor and Facilitator while promising to deploy the skills acquired towards productivity and socioeconomic development.

At the event were the Vice Chairman – Hon Bunmi Oluyadi, SLG – Hon Olaide John Bello, Supervisor For Works – Hon Bode Olaniyan, Council Manager – Engr Bunmi Akintoye, HOD Agric and Social Services, Mrs Oluwakemi Omisore.
