Ojodu LCDA has progressed significantly with earthworks at the Oluwole Mini Stadium, marking a major step toward the revitalization of grassroots sports infrastructure within the council area.
The ongoing earthworks, which involve site clearing, leveling and foundational preparation, signalled the beginning of a comprehensive upgrade of the facility. This initiative is part of the Olusegun Odunmbaku administration’s broader commitment to youth development, community engagement and the promotion of healthy living through sports.
Speaking on the development, the Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to creating enabling environments where young people can harness their talents and thrive. He noted that the transformation of the Oluwole Mini Stadium would provide a modern, accessible space for sporting activities, recreational use and community events.
According to him, the project aligns with the council’s strategic HEYSRELOADED AGENDA of investing in infrastructure that directly impacts the lives of residents, particularly the youth, who remain central to the area’s growth and future.
