The Executive Chairman Of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, has paid a condolence visit to commiserate with the Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives, Dr. Lola Akande, over the death of her husband, Dr. Kolapo Akande.
The deceased, who was brother-in-law to Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of former Lagos State Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, died on Wednesday at the age of 72.
Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, in a statement after signing the condolence register, said he sympathized with Dr. Lola Akande over the demise of her doting husband and that the entire Ojodu LCDA stands with the Akande family in this moment of bereavement.
The Mayor advised the Matriarch and members of the Akande family to accept the death of Dr. Kolapo Akande as the will of God, while also imploring them to take solace in the memorable impact that the deceased had on family and humanity whilst alive.
“On behalf of the Odunmbaku family, Management of Ojodu LCDA and its great people, I commiserate with the Honourable Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives, Dr. Lola Akande, on the death of her beloved husband, Dr. Kolapo Akande.”
“We pray for the repose of his soul and that he would find rest in the bosom of the Lord” Odunmbaku said.
On the entourage of the Ojodu LCDA Mayor were the SLG, Hon. Olaide John Bello, Leader of the Legislative House, Hon. Opeyemi Apatira, Hon. Seye Oyekan, Hon. Abdulsalam Olawale and Hon. Lekan Peters.
