Against the backdrop of reports that officials of Isolo LCDA demanded money from Emzor Pharmaceuticals before it could construct the dilapidated Aswani Road, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Olasoju days ago met with the Executive Director General of the company, Mrs. Uzoma Ezeoke.
Although the Council boss acknowledged his denial of the allegation as published by a particular national daily, he noted that the courtesy visitation had become pertinent to seek clarification. The newspaper had last month, reported that officials of the Council were alleged to have demanded a whopping N300 million from the multinational company, Emzor Pharmaceutical and that the road be awarded to the Council.
Speaking during the meeting, Hon. Olasoju explained that his visitation was, of course, to seek further clarification of the allegation and also better familiarize himself with the company’s management.

Responding, the Executive Director General of Emzor Pharmaceutical, Mrs. Uzoma Ezeoke, distanced their management from the purported story in its entirety rather preferring to declare her company’s resolve to continue collaborating with the Council towards making life more abundant for the people, especially in area of health care and exploring fresh areas of corporate social responsibility.
