Omeogo Canvasses Support For Uzodinma, Visits Eze Douglas

As the Shared Prosperity Government led by Senator Hope Uzodinma is gradually taking full force to developing and transforming Imo State, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Revenue Mobilization and Capacity Development, Hon High Chief Canice Moore Nwachukwu, Omeogo na Orlu, has continued canvassing support for the  Governor as he achieve his goal.

As part of his capacity development responsibility,  Omeogo understands that the role of Traditional Rulers in any democratic setting cannot be overemphasized,  hence his homage to Eze Douglas Okwara of Umuna, Orlu Local Government area of Imo State, on way forward.

Omeogo told the Traditional Ruler that Governor Hope Uzodinma was deeply committed to transform Imo State, even as he solicited the monarch’s support and that of his subjects.

 He seized the opportunity to commend the Governor for rolling out six billion naira for Imo State Youth Empowerment Program through the Office of his Commissioner for Entrepreneur and Skills Acquisition.

According to Omeogo, the fund will help to solve the problems of unemployment in the state and thereby reducing the rate of juvenile delinquency. 

Omeogo said “I am sure and optimistic that Governor Hope Uzodinma will perform excellently and as such his giant strides and achievements will make Imo people to renew his office for second term. All he needs now is our support. Tell your people to shun opposition and join hand with his Excellency to rehabilitate, reconstruct and recover Imo State”.

Expressing happiness, Eze Douglas Okwara, extolled Omeogo for visiting him despite the fact that he is mourning the demise of his mother, late Ezinne Mrs. Roseline Adamma Nwachukwu, (Nee Akpaeri) as he prayed to God to grant her soul eternal rest.   

Eze Douglas, further lauded Governor Uzodinma, who according to him, has performed creditably within a short period in office.

The first class Traditional Ruler, assured Omeogo of his support and that of his subjects for the progress and success of Uzodinma’s led government. 

He prayed to God to continue to strengthen and give the Governor and Omeogo wisdom to rule Imo State to the glory of God.
