A high-level dialogue on financing Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG-5) in Nigeria was held today at the Wells Carlton Hotel, Asokoro, Abuja.
The event, organized by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs in collaboration with UN Women, brought together policymakers, development partners, and stakeholders to discuss strategies for financing gender equality and women’s empowerment in Nigeria.
Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning in Anambra State, was among the panelists who shared insights and expertise at the event.
The dialogue was part of efforts to achieve SDG-5, which focuses on gender equality and women’s empowerment. Stakeholders hailed the event as a crucial step towards achieving gender equality in Nigeria.
