ONC Celebrates Deputy Governor Ngozi Odu On Birthday, Describes Her As Pride Of Orashi

Notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, has celebrated the birthday of the Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, describing her as a mother, mentor and pride of the Orashi people.

In a congratulatory message signed by its President General, Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, the Congress extended birthday wishes to Odu, who also serves as the Grand Patroness of the socio-cultural organisation.

The message, issued on behalf of the National Executive Council, Board of Trustees, Elders Council, Women and Youth Wings, and the people of the Orashi Region, comprising Abua/Odual, Ahoada East, Ahoada West and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Areas, praised the Deputy Governor for her leadership, humility and commitment to public service.

The ONC described Odu as a distinguished daughter of the Niger Delta whose contributions to education, peace and women’s empowerment have continued to inspire people across Rivers State.

The Congress also commended her relationship with the organisation, noting that she had continued to provide guidance and support in her capacity as Grand Patroness.

It further acknowledged her loyalty to Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, and her role in the state’s leadership.

Praying for God’s continued blessings upon the Deputy Governor, the ONC wished her good health, wisdom, strength and long life, expressing hope that her new year would usher in greater accomplishments and opportunities to serve humanity.

The statement reaffirmed the Congress’s appreciation for Odu’s relationship with the Orashi people, describing her birthday as an opportunity to celebrate her leadership and contributions to the region.
