The Orashi National Congress, ONC, has joined well-meaning Nigerians, political leaders, and admirers across the country to celebrate Her Excellency, Prof. (Mrs.) Ngozi Nma Odu, DSSRS, the Deputy Governor of Rivers State and Grand Patroness of the Orashi National Congress, on the occasion of her birthday.
In a goodwill message signed by the President General of the Orashi National Congress, Amb. Snr. Comr. Emeni Ibe, the organization described Prof. Odu as “a woman of excellence, a beacon of wisdom, and a trailblazer whose life epitomizes leadership, humility, and service to humanity.”
The group praised the Deputy Governor for her outstanding contributions to the growth and stability of Rivers State and her deep sense of commitment to the peace and development of the Orashi region.
“Her Excellency, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, remains an icon of purposeful leadership. Her dedication to public service, her brilliance in academia, and her motherly role in governance continue to inspire the people of Rivers State, particularly the Orashi Nation,” Amb. Ibe stated.
He further described her as “a virtuous woman whose exemplary character and achievements have continued to uplift the image of Rivers women and the entire Orashi region”.
The Orashi National Congress, in its message, also expressed profound gratitude for the Deputy Governor’s unwavering support to the Congress and her passion for youth empowerment, women development, and educational advancement.
“As our Grand Patroness, she has provided moral guidance and inspiration to the leadership and members of ONC. Her humility and commitment to people-oriented governance remain unmatched,” the ONC added.
The Congress therefore, prayed for God’s continued blessings, strength, and divine wisdom upon the life of the Deputy Governor as she continues to contribute to the advancement of Rivers State.
The celebration of Prof. Odu’s birthday has drawn wide commendation from various quarters, with many describing her as a “jewel of inestimable value” and a “true daughter of the Orashi soil” whose leadership continues to light the path of others.
