The Orashi National Congress, ONC, apex socio-cultural organisation of Abua/Odual, Ahoada East, Ahoada West and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Areas, has congratulated and passed a vote of confidence on the Board and Management of Aradel Holdings Plc, under the leadership of its Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Adegbite Falade.
In a statement signed by its President General, Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, the ONC said it notes with pride the string of outstanding achievements recorded by Aradel Holdings Plc in 2026, which have positioned it as a shining example of indigenous capacity and excellence in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
According to the ONC, at the closing gala of the 25th NOG Energy Week Conference and Exhibition in July 2026, Aradel clinched two of the highest honours – the Energy Excellence Award, presented by the Special Adviser to the President on Energy, Ms. Olu Verheijen, in recognition of operational excellence, strategic investments and sustained value creation, and the H.E. Dr. Alirio Parra Lifetime Achievement Award conferred on Mr. Falade by the GCEO of NNPC Limited, Mr. Bayo Ojulari and CCE of NUPRC, Mrs. Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, for exceptional dedication, leadership and lasting impact in the energy industry.
The group also cited the company’s unaudited H1 2026 results, which showed group production surging 523 per cent to 139,500 boepd from the prior year, crude oil output rising 258 per cent to 55.6 kbopd, gas production rising 1,121 per cent to 503.2 mmscf/d, gross revenue jumping 577 per cent to N2.491 trillion from N368.1 billion in H1 2025, and gross profit jumping 782 per cent to N1.44 trillion.
ONC further noted the company’s commitment to international standards with the attainment of ISO 45001:2018 Certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management System in February 2026, building on existing ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015 certifications.
“These milestones are not mere awards; they are testaments to disciplined leadership, strategic asset integration from 2025 acquisitions, operational excellence, and commitment to shareholder value, safety and host community development,” ONC said.
The Congress therefore, resolved to pass a unanimous vote of confidence on the Board, Management and staff of Aradel Holdings Plc led by Mr. Falade, congratulate the company for proving that indigenous companies can compete globally with integrity and excellence, and call on other Niger Delta stakeholders to emulate Aradel’s model of operational excellence married to community responsibility.
It also assured Aradel Holdings of continued partnership and support in its operations affecting Orashi and Niger Delta communities.
