He noted that the command has experienced a renewed sense of efficiency and professionalism, boosting public confidence in security agencies.

He reaffirmed that the ONC remains a socio-cultural organization committed to promoting peace, unity, and conflict resolution through dialogue, while also supporting security agencies in maintaining law and order across the region.

The ONC leader further expressed appreciation to the Commissioner of Police for the posting, describing it as timely and impactful. He however, used the opportunity to call on the Federal Government and relevant authorities, including the Niger Delta Development Commission, to prioritize the upgrading of infrastructure at the Ahoada Area Command, including office facilities and officers’ quarters.

Amb. Ibe emphasized that the Command, being one of the oldest in the Niger Delta, deserves modern facilities comparable to others in the region, given its strategic importance and long-standing service, including to multinational operations.
