ONC Honours CSP Lawrence Ojo As Best DPO In Ahoada West

It was a day of appreciation for Orashi National Congress on Thursday 7th March, 2024, and joy for a performing Police officer, CSP Lawrence Ojo, as the ONC, being the mouthpiece of the Orashi people, presented him an Award of Honour as the Best Divisional Police Officer in Ahoada West.
The ONC, led by the President General, Snr. Comrade Emeni Ibe, made a heartfelt appeal for peace in the region while calling for an end to ongoing dispute among the youths in Ahoada West.
Most Snr Comrade Emeni Ibe, while addressing the gathering of community leaders, executive council members and residents from Ahoada Abua/Odual, Ahoada East, and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Areas, expressed deep appreciation to CSP Lawrence Ojo for his exceptional leadership since assuming office as the Akinima Divisional Police Officer.
Comrade Ibe said, “Our people are filled with joy, and we have immense confidence in the efficiency of the Nigerian Police Force under CSP Lawrence Ojo’s leadership. In fact, he is the very best in the history of the Division”.
The President General extended gratitude to the Commissioner of Police for the unwavering support provided to CSP Ojo’s Division and highlighted the DPO’s role in apprehending the late cult leader, known as 2 Baba. Comrade Emeni also used the opportunity to highly appreciate the Executive Chairman of Ahoada West and the Rivers State Government for their contributions to maintaining peace and security in the region.
In recognition of CSP Ojo’s incomparable efforts, Comrade Ibe presented the DPO with an award of honour on behalf of the Orashi National Congress. He emphasized that this acknowledgment goes beyond words, representing the deep gratitude of the community.
He also urged the youths to support the Police and charged those with illegal guns to lay down their arms and embrace peace while deeply emphasizing the importance of a harmonious community.
The appreciation visit was concluded with prayers for CSP Lawrence Ojo’s continued success, invoking blessings for his personal and professional life. The President General, Ibe assured continued cooperation for a peaceful community based on the rule of law.
