The leadership of the Orashi National Congress, ONC, the apex sociocultural group and foremost voice, has expressed their heartfelt appreciation to all the Council Chairmen and security agencies in the Orashi region for a peaceful and secure yuletide celebration.
In a statement to the media on Wednesday 8th January, 2025, Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe, the President General of the group said, “The leadership of the Orashi National Congress, ONC, wishes to express our heartfelt appreciation to:
(1) Hon Chibudhom Rizzy Ezu Hezekial, the Executive Chairman of Ahoada East LGA.
(2) Hon Iyekor Ikporo, the Executive Chairman of Ahoada West LGA.
(3) Hon Prince Isaac Umejuru Executive Chairman ONELGA (4) Hon Vinent Obu Executive Chairman Abua Odual LGA and all the Police Area Commanders, the FOB Commander, JTF Commanders, DPOs and the heads of security agencies in Orashi region of Rivers State including the Traditional leaders for your outstanding efforts in ensuring a peaceful and secure Christmas and yuletide celebrations in all our communities in the Orashi Region.
