ONC Pays Courtesy Visit To MD Of Gas Kings Nig. Ltd, Stephen Buduka Romeo

Respected Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, has paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of Gas Kings Nigeria Limited, Mr. Stephen Buduka Romeo.

 

The Congress paid the visit on Tuesday 5th May, 2026, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Speaking during the visit, the President General of the ONC said, “It is with great pleasure that I, Amb. Emeni Ibe, by the special grace of God Almighty led this great delegation for a courtesy visit to you Sir”.

“The Orashi National Congress is an independent apex socio-cultural organization of Orashi People, comprising the four Local Government Areas of Orashi Region in Rivers State which includes, Abua-Odual, Ahoada-East, Ahoada-West and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Areas of Rivers State whose aims and objective among others are the advocation for sustainable security and preaching of peace, youth right, empowerment, development and national unity and justice particularly to enlighten and mobilize Orashi People to always use dialogue in resolving conflicts and consulting with security and government agencies.”

We in the congress having the aims and the ambition of contributing our quota towards bettering the society by creating conducive industrial environment with focus on actualizing the ideal of better society and reduction of crime like cultism, pipeline vandalization, youth restiveness and terrorism.”

A visibly elated Stephen Buduka Romeo thanked the Congress for the visit and the honour bestowed on him.

 

 

Mr. Romeo said he identifies with the aims and objectives of the Orashi National Congress, ONC, in promoting peace and security while campaigning against societal vices and violence.

He promised to partner with the Congress in providing ideas towards empowering youths in the region. He said he is poised to ensure that the natural resources in the region do not look like a curse to the people but sources of blessing. In collaboration with the Congress, Mr. Romeo assured that youths in the region will be engaged constructively to get the best out of them.
