The President-General of the Orashi National Congress, ONC, Amb. Emeni Ibe, has felicitated with former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, on the occasion of her 69th birthday.
Ibe, in a goodwill message on behalf of the apex socio-cultural organisation of Abua/Odual, Ahoada West, Ahoada East and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Areas of Rivers State, described the former First Lady as a woman of uncommon grace, compassion and courage.
“On behalf of the entire leadership and members of the Orashi National Congress, I heartily felicitate with Her Excellency, Dame Patience Faka Jonathan, PhD, former First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on the joyous occasion of your 69th birthday,” he said.
He noted that through her foundation, pet projects while in office and motherly support for the downtrodden, Dame Jonathan has touched countless lives and set a legacy of empowerment that continues to inspire generations of Nigerian women and youths.
“As you celebrate today, we pray that the Almighty God will grant you renewed strength, sound health, abundant joy, long life and peace in your family. May your new age be filled with many more blessings and may your legacy of service and empowerment continue to illuminate our nation,” Ibe added.
He wished her a happy birthday, describing her as Mama Africa.
