Notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, has joyfully welcomed the Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, on the occasion of his official visit to the Orashi region for the commissioning of key development projects.
The visit is part of Governor Fubara’s ongoing infrastructure drive across the state and will feature the commissioning of the Ahoada Zonal Hospital as well as the second phase of the Ahoada–Omoku Road Project. Other projects slated for commissioning include the Ihuowo–Ihuama Road, the Ring Road, and the Obohdi–Ozochi Road and Bridge.
According to the ONC, the commissioning activities are scheduled to hold on the 10th, 16th, and 19th of December, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the delivery of people-oriented projects in the Orashi axis.
The Congress described the projects as critical interventions that will boost healthcare delivery, improve road connectivity, enhance economic activities, and overall quality of life for residents of the area.
In a statement issued on behalf of the organisation, the President General of the Orashi National Congress, Amb. Comr. Emeni Ibe, commended Governor Fubara’s administration for its inclusive development approach and sustained commitment to grassroots development.
The ONC reaffirmed its support for the Rivers State Government and expressed optimism that the commissioned projects would translate into long-term socio-economic benefits for the Orashi people and Rivers State at large.
