An All Progressives Congress, APC Chieftain from Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, Prince Idowu Oluwagbenga ILARA. FMS, has warmly and strongly appreciated all the supporters of Chief Olusola Oke SAN, for being firm and resolute with their support for his gubernatorial aspiration.
While expressing his heartfelt gratitude to the teeming supporters of Chief Oke, Prince Idowu said, “I want to express my deepest gratitude to my supporters from across the globe as a whole. My Ward, Mahin Ward 3, Local Government, State level, as well as my Diasporan friends for their moral support and prayers for my principal, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN’s governorship ambition while the process lasted”.
“In spite of the challenges we faced in the just concluded charade of a so-called gubernatorial primaries, my mobilized community members remained steadfast in their support for Chief Olusola Oke (SAN) till the end, even in the face of harassment, intimidation and threats, they remained undaunted, unmitigated.”
“For us as a support base, we will continue to stand by him while awaiting the opportunity that is not distant to cast our votes in his favour. It is disheartening to witness the impact of political violence on our democratic process, but we remain hopeful that our voices will be heard and that justice will be served in due course.”
“Our principal, Chief Olusola Oke (SAN), has sued for peace from his overwhelming support base. He is not oblivious of the daylight robbery of the powers that be to truncate democratic ethos, foist unprogressive footprint, and engage in the most heinous electoral fraud in the political annal of the Sunshine State. He knows what happened on Saturday was a complete rape of democracy. An orchestrated shenanigan to lord an unpopular candidate on the people of Ondo State.”
“Let it be known to our teeming supporters that our principal, Chief Olusola Oke (SAN), being a Senior Advocate of Nigeria alongside other people of like-mind are considering exploring other options of seeking justice against such travesty as was witnessed on Saturday, April 20, 2024. He will explore and exploit all legal means to seek equitable justice as you can not build something on nothing.”
“I therefore call on all our supporters to keep calm, stay alert, avoid any form of violence, attacks, and/or acts that can impugn on the personality of our principal. He is a man known for his simplicity, forthrightness, candour, and sportsmanship. We therefore can not engage in anything untoward action that will dent his image.”
“Once again, I thank you all and pray God bless everyone” he concluded.
