Out of the three aspirants seeking to serve as Councillors in Ward E of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area, only two were reportedly cleared by the Screening Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to contest in the Primary Election in the Council area.

Those cleared to contest the Primary election slated for Saturday included the female among the aspirants, Yusuff Kuburat Khadijah and Moses Folorunsho.

The aspirant not cleared was Kareem Mutiu O. As at the time of filing this report, the Screening Committee did not indicate the reason they did not clear him. So the contest is between the two aspirants that got clean bill.

However, Kareem, who was not cleared by the Committee, still have the opportunity of appealing non-clearance through the Appeal Committee set up by the party to address issues that may arise from the screening exercise.
