In a show of compassion, the Mayor of Onitsha North LGA, Hon. Nweze Tony Nwora, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Hon. Justice Azuka, Anambra State House of Assembly member representing Onitsha North 1 Constituency, who was kidnapped on December 24, 2024, with his decomposing body found two days ago at the Second Niger Bridge axis.
While consoling the grieving mother and wife of the deceased, the Mayor expressed deep sorrow over the unfortunate incident. He offered words of comfort, urging the bereaved family to find solace in God.
He prayed for God to grant the soul of late Hon. Justice Azuka eternal rest and to give his family—especially the mother, wife, and children—the fortitude to bear this great loss.
The Mayor concluded by assuring the bereaved family that justice would be served, with all involved facing the full weight of the law.
He also took a moment to sign the condolence register, further expressing his sympathies and commitment to supporting the family during this difficult time.
