Opiano, Other Artistes Throw Weight Behind Sanwo-Olu

Some artistes and stakeholders in the entertainment industry in Lagos State over the weekend disclosed that they were throwing their weight behind the candidature of the All Progressive Congress standard bearer in the gubernatorial race, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his running mate, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.

 

The artistes led by Opeyemi Emmanuel Kolawole, popularly known as Opiano, said that the endorsement became necessary because they believed in the dream of the APC governorship candidate to take Lagos to greater heights. The group said that they were at the Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu ICG office in Ikeja to also identify with the projected record breaking “Lagos Ride For Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat” which was rescheduled to take place on 3^rd February, 2019, because of its wide acceptability.

 

Speaking, one of the Coordinators of the “Lagos Ride For Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat, Comrade Ahmed Adeniyi Ojikutu, said that it was a welcome development for the group to connect with the project in support of Sanwo-Olu. Ojikutu also appreciated them for going the extra mile by composing very sweet songs in support of the APC candidate.

 

The leader of the group, Opiano, who is a performing artiste, music producer, publicist and a supply chain specialist, said that aside composing and supporting with their songs, that they were prepared to join the Lagos Ride For Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat with fleet of buses, cars and musical equipments. He used the opportunity to present the songs done by him and Pius Oluwashina Akindiyo, also known as Pius Wanted.

 

Opiano has done several notable songs like Party Time, It is my turn to shine, etc and has featured several artistes like T code, IBK Sings etc. He has also produced several artistes including the well-known Spydaman. Opiano is also the CEO KWG Entertainment, a company that has one of the finest musicians in Lagos State including but not limited to Pius Wanted, TrumPeter, Dare Tungba and others.

Pius Wanted is currently being managed by KWG Entertainment as an artiste and one of the in-house producers for the company. He gained recognition in Lagos State Government in Alliance with his management team KWG Entertainment that has availed him the opportunity to write, compose and sing one of the trending campaign songs for the APC gubernatorial candidate, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu and Dr. Kadri Hamzat.
