Organisers, Club Managers, Coaches Salute Owu Sportswear For Partnering With Alimosho League

Organisers of the ongoing Alimosho Football Coaches Council League have expressed appreciation to Owu Sportswear, as a sport manufacturing company for partnering with the league.


Owu Sports Wear recently signed a memorandum of Understanding MOU with the league management of Alimosho Football Coaches Council League.


The sportswear company agreed to brand the teams involved in the league as the participants were asked to pay a 50 percent discount. In a statement copied our correspondent, chairman organizing committee, Samuel Uchenna Eke has expressed delight with the collaboration with Owu Sportswear noted that all the team’s jerseys are branded by Owu Sportswears in the ongoing Alimosho league.

“The sporting company has reduced the price for us by giving us 50 percent discount for the branding which all the team owners agreed at the meeting with them. If we look at our league now, all the teams are branded with Owu Sportswear and I thank Owu Sportswear once again for the kind gesture and wish the company more successful in its future endeavour,” he said.


Chief Coach of Iyaloja General United, IGU, Mohammed Aberejo commended the sporting company for their support to the league and urged the players and coaches to be of good conduct during and after the match.


While Bucknor team manager, Habeeb Adebowale praised Owu Sportswear for partnering with Alimosho league. He said the partnership deal would attract more football scouts, agents and media to show more interest in the league and called on other corporate bodies within Alimosho area to collaborate with the league management as part of their corporate social responsibility.


In his own comment, Samjason coach, Mathias Enebili said the league is getting better with the partnership with Owu Sportswear and admonished the fans, players and club owners to shun any form of violence that may bring the tourney into disrepute.


In his remark, Kedge Sports Coach, Noah Omotunde gave kudos to Owu Sportswear for the job well done in the league and promised that all the club owners, coaches and players would shun hooliganism that may tarnish the image of the league.


In the matches played in week two, Samjason defeated Newton G 2-0, while Kedge Sports walloped Leyenda 2-0
