The final of U-15 Ubong King Memorial Football Competition would hold on December, 19, Sunday at the Legacy pitch of National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
The competition was organized in memory of Ubong King who die a year ago sponsored by Protection Plus Service Limited.
To reach the final stage, Catch Them Young thrashed Biodun Babes 4-2, while Aboy Babes also defeated Young Shall Grow 3-2 to book a place in the final.
Chairman Organising Committee, Taofeek Ajibola has expressed gratitude to God for the injury-free throughout the tournament noted that no player sustained either major or minor injury during the competition. He however urged the finalists to continue abiding by the rules and regulations.
“We started the competition almost a month ago and we thank God that we have not recorded any accident throughout the competition. The tourney has lived up to expectations and we were able to discover some talents which may recommend to Lagos State Football Association, LSFA for future competitions,” he said.
