Chairman of MS Success Football Club of Mushin, Musbau Oseni, has explained why Extra Quality Pre-Season football tourney, which holds early January was cancelled.
Oseni in chat with our correspondent revealed that the cancellation was necessary due to the renovation and construction works taking place at Eko Boys High School.
“I have received several calls concerning our pre-season football tournament I organise early year but presently the venue for the competition, which is Eko Boys High School is under renovation so it is necessary for me to cancel this year’s edition and apologize to our teams for inconveniences,”he said.
Oseni however, assured the affected teams of playing in Ramadan Cup which kicks off in March saying that the venue would have been ready before the next month.
“We are going to accommodate more teams for the Ramadan Cup and most of the teams that play our pre-season football tournament every year would be accommodated with some clubs that have football pedigree in Lagos,”he said.
Among the teams that showed interest in the Ramadan Cup are FC Robo, Utility Sport,Diadem Stallion,Shola FC and MS Success Football Club of Mushin.
