Paris Kinsey aka ‘Brotherofcolor’ has been shortlisted as one of the honorees for the AFRO BALL AWARDS 2022.

This fashion conscious, philanthropic event in partnership with the U.S. Congress celebrates individuals who are amplifying Africa and the diaspora by excelling in their respective professional and creative fields.

In the past, notable people in music & entertainment, politics, healthcare, tech, fashion, etc have been highlighted and honoured.

A few of the past honorees include Everette Taylor, Massah David and Henri Pierre-Jacques and Nigerian born UFC champion Israel Adesanya. Each honoree receives an award and a certificate of recognition from the U.S. congress.

The United States Congress through the office of Karen Bass partners with Amplify Africa to present congressional certificates of excellence to honorees at the Afro Ball.

Paris expressed his delight at being shortlisted for this recognition. “I feel very privileged to be among this year’s honorees, especially as I am about to try a new career phase with the planned release of my debut EP,” he added.

Kinsey promised to continue promoting black cultural heritage and to always use his voice and platform to help encourage and inspire the youth.

Paris Kinsey is a budding artist who found fame as a comedian making funny and educational videos on social media.
