Stakeholders from the Ifelodun-Boripe-Odo Otin (IBO) Federal Constituency, on Sunday, rose after their monthly meeting and announced that the reelection of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s into office at the July 16 election in Osun as an examination that must be passed with distinction. The leaders also charged all members to return to their wards and mobilise towards the governor’s victory.

This was disclosed during the Constituency’s political meeting at the Country home of the governor in Iragbiji, Boripe local government area of the State.

According to the stakeholders, only an overwhelming vote cast in favour of Governor Oyetola would adequately show the constituency’s appreciation for the good work the governor is doing.

This was as IBO stakeholders reiterated that grievances had been laid aside and the olive branches had been extended to aggrieved members who are sincere about the development of Osun to join what they described as “the noble quest of Oyetola’s re-election”.

According to the chairman, Chief Poju Odusola: “Our focus at this time is undivided. July 16 is the examination date, and we must pass with no lesser grade than distinction.

“So, all hands must be on deck and every necessary mechanism must be put in place towards a landslide victory for Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, the leader who has excelled in service delivery and developmental projects and programmes in the last three-and-a-half years.

“We have agreed before and we are reiterating again that all grievances must be set aside. We are making this call to everyone who is interested in the progress and development of Osun to join us in this noble pursuit of making sure Oyetola continues to deliver good fortunes to the state just as he has done since 2019”, Odusola said.

In attendance were former and serving lawmakers at federal and state level, members of the state executive council from the constituency, council chairmen, other political appointees, board members, and notable stakeholders.
